After registering, you will receive a confirming email with a unique link that will take you to the meeting. Click on that link at 7:30 PM on Monday the 15th. You will also likely get a reminder an hour before the meeting starts. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM  so that we can get set up but the meeting itself does not start until 7:30 PM. (Zoom only lets meeting start on the hour or half hour.)

From Local to Global and Back Again: Citizen Science's role in a
Global Biodiversity Observation Network

Description: this presentation will profile the increasingly important role
of citizen science in global efforts to better monitor the pulse of our
planet.  An overview of the development of a global  biodiversity
observation network will be profiled and examples of how citizen science is
used to support informed conservation action will be shown.
