[BNS_members] Worthwhile fundraiser

This is interesting Soren,

Thanks for sharing. This raises a couple interesting questions, namely,
when the land is purchased? Who owns it and what does ownership mean?

Probably more interesting is that this effort shows a real appetite for
local grass-roots based land conservation.

This is a role BNS should be playing in our community! My understanding is
BNS is one of the few groups in NS that can hold land in trust, and to my
knowledge has not acted in that capacity.
