[BNS_members] 2022 Natural History Calendars!

Hello everyone, 

It is that wonderful time of year - the new BNS Natural History
Calendars are out! 

Please see the beautiful cover page and sample calendar page attached.
Many thanks to all the hands involved in creating this! 

And thank you to everyone for your continued support of these wonderful
calendars full of great local photography, tide times, and plenty of
natural history information. This is the 25th year of publication!

The calendars are $15.00 (plus $4.00 shipping if required) and you can
find them at the following locations: 

_Wolfville:_ Herbin Jewellers; Eos Natural Foods
 _Greenwich:_ Hennigar's Farm Market; Elderkin's Farm Market; Stirling's
Farm Market; Noggin's Corner Farm Market 

Also, they are available for purchase on the BNS website under
Publications [1].

I hope everyone fairs well in the upcoming stormy weather. I'm off to

 Blomidon Naturalists Society activities take place in Mi'kma'ki, the
traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This
territory is covered by the "Treaties of Peace and Friendship" which did
not deal with the surrender of lands and resources but in fact
recognized Mi'kmaw title. We want to recognize that outdoor education
and play would not be possible without access to the natural world that
has been stewarded since time immemorial by the many Indigenous peoples
of this land. We acknowledge that we have a responsibility to honour and
learn about their histories and current cultures and to actively work in
support of reconciliation. We are committed to fostering respectful and
sustainable relationships with the Indigenous Peoples of this land, with
all other organisms, with the land and with the water.
