I know it is election night however results do not start to roll in until later in the evening. Therefore, what better way to wait for the election results than listening to an exciting presentation about the Mi?kmaq perspective on biodiversity. We are very excited to have Elder Albert Marshall who proposed the concept of "two eyed seeing,? Lisa Young of the Unama?ki Institute of Natural Resources, and Karen Beazley, Dalhousie University, three of the authors of an inspiring article titled ?Awakening the sleeping giant: re-Indigenization principles for transforming biodiversity conservation in Canada and beyond.?
