[BNS_members] Sunday's HWA Learning/Scouting Event

> Join us at The Gorge to learn about the Hemlock Wooly Adelgid (HWA). Receive HWA detection training, then try out your new HWA detection skills in the Gorge hemlock forest and verify samples found with experts on site.

> Everyone welcome! Woodlot owners, tree enthusiast, Gorge or Kentville ravine lovers or anyone who wants to learn more about ways to save our Hemlocks.
>  
> Date: May 1st (Rain Date May 7th) (we will post on social media if the event needs to be post phoned due to weather)
>  
> Time: Session 1 begins at 1:00pm
>            Session 2 begins at 2:30pm
> (no need to register ahead of time)

> Location: We will meet at the Gorge Trail Head, 53 Gladys Porter Drive
>  
> Environment/Accessibility: Please dress for the weather (often it is cooler in the woods). Groups will be walking through the woods, over uneven terrain and stepping over fallen debris. Places to rest will include fallen trees. Chairs and benches will be available at the trail head if you would like to sit to hear the presentation before heading into the woods. Snacks will be available (nut safe granola bars and apples). We encourage everyone to bring water to drink and their own hot beverage, if desired. There is a portable toilet on site.
