[BNS_members] Reminder: Climate Circles Reconnect and Take Stock Zoom Event Tuesday December 6 7-9pm

Hello Blomidon Naturalist members and people who keep track of
climate-related things,

Just offering a reminder about our two remaining Climate Circles events for
this fall! They are the same event, offered in two different formats, one
online via Zoom tomorrow evening Tuesday Dec 6 at 7pm and one this coming
Sunday Dec 11 from 2-4pm at the Valley Community Learning Association at *118
Oakdene Ave in Kentville.*

the Climate Circles team (which is currently Sarah, Emily and Caroline) is
excited to re-introduce “Climate Circles” into our community. Climate
Circles first ran in the winter of 2020 in Wolfville, and is a facilitated
space for climate action of all forms.

Are you feeling concerned about climate change? Do you want to meet others
who share your concern to work alongside and take local action together?
Join the Blomidon Naturalists Society for a re-convening of Climate
Circles, a facilitated and supportive space to meet and work with people
who are wanting to take climate action together. In these three sessions,
offered in several locations and formats, we will focus on taking stock
after more than two years of not meeting in person. We want to know who is
wanting to re-engage, what climate action ideas you have, and what needs
you have in order to take action. Come meet new people and help  design a
new Climate Circles meeting format for 2023 based on your ideas and needs.

We are offering three sessions before the new year to assess community
needs and connect with interested community members:

(1) November 28th from 7-9 pm at the Wolfville Curling Club (completed)

(2) December 6th from 7-9 pm online (zoom link & registration info below)

(3) December 11th from 2-4 pm at the Valley Community Learning Association,
Kentville
