[BNS_members] County Council Vote of New Protected Area

>> As many of you know, we have been working to get the province to propose a new protected area in the southwest corner of Kings County and to get a moratorium on new forestry on these Crown lands while the planning takes place. On Tuesday eve, Kings County will be voting on whether to provide a letter of support for this proposal. Their endorsement is key to getting the province to take this seriously. As the result of our publicity, supporters as well opponents have come out of the woodwork and are contacting Councillors. This is going to be a close vote. I am hoping you might take just a few minutes to do a quick call or e mail or our councillor to say you support this proposal. I have attached an info flyer that explains all of the details. This is time sensitive in that the vote is Tuesday eve.
