[BNS_members] Call for Volunteers

Hello Blomidon Naturalists Society Members,
My name is Sarah and I am currently a Board Member for the BNS; however, my day job is the interim Research Manager at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre at Acadia University. I am reaching out today with a request to anyone who feels that they may have capacity to volunteer for a province-wide, youth environmental science program hosted at Acadia. I feel that this program overlaps with many of the BNS interests for environmental education and youth engagement, so I thought this would be a good group to ask!
We are looking for new volunteer members to join our committee to assist with the coordination and planning of this program. If you have a few hours a week to spare and are looking for more ways to get involved with your community and inspire naturalists of tomorrow, this could be a perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for individuals with knowledge in the following areas: aquatics, wildlife, forestry, soil science, or climate change.
