It looks like the rainy forecast for Saturday will end early Sunday morning
and turn into a nice day. Thus the walk to and around Miners Marsh is on.
We will meet at the parking lot at Eaves Hollow (on Main Street across from
the Kentville Research Station) at 10 am. If the parking lot is full,
there’s more parking on the Sout side of Main St. The walk will take just
under 2 hours. Bring binoculars and put the free Merlin app on your cell
phone. The marsh is full of Canada geese and four pairs of wood ducks.
Redwings are also back. There should be a lot of nature to enjoy.
