Caroline Beach Walk

Join Jeff Newbery for a hike to Caroline Beach. We will follow the old road that will take us to the beach at Pineo Brook; a short walk along the shore will take us to Caroline Beach where we will check on the monument and stop for a break and relaxation and give us opportunity to explore the nooks and crannies in the area before returning the same route. The old road has gentle declines and inclines, rocks and ruts in places and crosses Black Hole Brook. You may get your feet wet or the brook may be low enough to cross and remain dry. We might check out Black Hole Falls from above if there is interest as well. Ticks are a distinct possibility. Please, no dogs for this hike.
