Chain Lakes Wilderness snowshoe/hike

Explore the outskirts of the Chain Lakes Wilderness Area on Saturday, March 7 at 10 am and learn from biologist Linda Hutchinson why this wilderness area deserves to be preserved. This is an out-and-back trail starting from Anna’s Maple Cafe. There is an opportunity to purchase a lunch from the cafe after the snowshoe. Based on Wednesday’s trail conditions, snowshoes are recommended, but crampons may be sufficient. The trails will likely be quite icy after the subzero temperatures from Thursday and Friday.
