Early Valley Birding

17 April-- 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Participants must REGISTER here.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Wolfville waterfront. We will be looking for nesting raptors (they like to get an early start!), lingering winter visitors, and maybe some early arrivals. Our route will go to Canning, via Starr’s Point and the Wellington Dyke. From there we will go along Church Street, ending at Miners Marsh in Kentville. If you have never been to Miners Marsh this will be a good time to learn where it is as it is a very active birding spot during the breeding season. Dress warmly and bring a snack as we will stop for a break at Canning.

We will limit the event to 12 cars. Only one person PER CAR therefore needs to register. You can have multiple people in your car, under the one registration.

This event is entirely free and open to the public. However, if you enjoy our activities and have the capacity to give, we do appreciate any and every donation. Your contributions go towards nature programs such as this, a student scholarship awarded annually and would help cover the costs of larger projects.
