Earth Adventure – The Mystery of the Black Duck (Environment Day)

Celebrate World Environment Day with the Town of Kentville and the BNS!

Join Linda Hutchinson for a family Earth Adventure on Saturday, June 6! Step into a duck’s world as you

search for clues to the black duck’s secret of survival. Discover lots of cool creatures around the marsh. Along the way you’ll have to build a nest, find food, and care and protect your own duck eggs from predators. This is family fun and discovery for all, which is focused on ages 5-11.

Time: 10:00 am and 11:30 am

 

Location: Miner’s Marsh, Kentville

Linda Hutchinson completed her MSc in Biology at Acadia University in February 2026, and has been a board member with the BNS since October 2024. She has led multiple BNS kids programs, including guided hikes, a day camp, and workshops.
