Urban Gardening for Pollinators

Do you want to start a pollinator garden and wonder where to start? This workshop offers you an insiders view of an urban home landscape in transition to a pollinator support garden. Before heading out to tour the garden, there will be two presentations offering background and practical information that will help ensure your new pollinator garden is a success. There will be a break with refreshments.
This workshop will be co-presented by Carolyn Green & Carole Donaldson, members of the Butterflyway Project, a national David Suzuki Foundation project that has been adopted by the Blomidon Naturalists Society.
Carolyn Green is a member of the Atlantic Master Gardeners Association. She is certified by the Pollinator Partnership as a pollinator steward and her home garden has been certified by the CWF as a wildlife friendly habitat.
Carole Donaldson is a long time native plant gardener and co-author of the pocket guide “Wildflowers of Nova Scotia”.
