Flying Squirrel Adventures (FSA) is a program of the Blomidon Naturalists Society. We initiate and facilitate immersive nature outings, activities and event series for children and youth in the Annapolis Valley. We help young people connect to the natural world, themselves, and a community of nature lovers. 

Currently we are only running children and youth programs with organized groups. If you have a group interested in nature programs and events, please contact us.

 Our programs offer:

• A loose structure to allow for imagination and curiosity to flourish
• Nature connection activities
• Sensory-based exploration
• Cooperative games over competition to build character
• Healthy risk-taking to build physical literacy

The Flying Squirrel is a symbol of being curious and having fun in nature!  The flying squirrel is active all through the year, and is very social, hanging out in groups – just like us!
