Thinking of joining? Here’s why…
- Receive a printed copy of Beyond the Tides, the tri-annual BNS magazine that profiles current issues, ideas, and achievements with respect to nature, conservation and sustainability in the region.
- Participate in workshops and field trips to explore, enjoy and learn about local nature.
- Participate in the monthly speaker series (in person, or on-line) to learn about nature, creatures and their goings-on in our region.
- Receive regular updates and a monthly e-newsletter announcing field trips, educational and advocacy
opportunities and current events. Note: This is a closed list and only authorized members can email to the list. - Support kids and family environmental education and nature connection programs offered by Flying Squirrel Adventures.
- Support nature conservation and natural history projects in the Eastern Annapolis Valley.
- Support local BNS conservation advocacy, including pollinator and protected area work, and climate action through Nature Nova Scotia
- Support or engage in citizen science research

After completing the form, you may pay in one of three ways…
• Pay by credit or debit card on the site .
• Pay by e-transfer. Click below the green bar on the site payment page to “Switch to off-line payment.” Your membership will be pending. Once the e-transfer has been received stating it is for membership your status will be active. The e transfer address is: treasurer@blomidonnaturalists.ca.
• Pay by cheque, payable to and mailed to the “Blomidon Naturalists Society” (see address below). Your membership will be pending. Once the check has been received stating it is for membership your status will be active.

Please realize that we do not share your membership information or e mails with any other organization. We have an email list serve at members@blomidonnaturalists.ca that provides electronic communications from the BNS. When you become a member, you can receive an account with a password on the list server. This allows you to manage if and how you wish to receive your email notices. Just do nothing and you will get the BNS notices. This server is monitored and only select members have the rights to send to the list so you will not be getting a lot of email from it. If you are not on the list-server and wish to be, e mail: info@blomidonnaturalists.ca.
The Blomidon Naturalists Society is a registered charity. Receipts for income tax purposes are issued for all donations, but they are not issued for the membership fee given in that you receive the tangible benefits from membership.. Pay by e-transfer.
