[BNS_members] Highway Clean-Up on Sunday

Good morning, 

A reminder that we have our bi-annual HIGHWAY CLEAN UP THIS UPCOMING
SUNDAY MAY 1ST AT 9:00AM! It is a great way to start the day outside
helping clean up our community. We will meet at 9:00 am at the
Elderkin's parking lot to organize and start the clean-up. 

The BNS has been doing a fall and spring clean-up for the past few
years, along Highway 1 between the west edge of Wolfville and Deep
Hollow Road. We have adopted this stretch of highway, and we would love
if you can join us for a few hours (approx. 2) and help clean up along
the road. Many hands make light work!

We will provide high-visibility vests and garbage bags. Please bring
gloves if desired, and appropriate clothing for the weather. In the case
of lots of rain, we will postpone to the following weekend. (The weather
is looking rainy right now, but I will confirm closer to the date - we
all know how weather in NS can change!)

 Blomidon Naturalists Society activities take place in Mi'kma'ki, the
traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This
territory is covered by the "Treaties of Peace and Friendship" which did
not deal with the surrender of lands and resources but in fact
