[BNS_members] Upcoming in September: Fun with Fungi Course

Good morning, 

Coming up in September we have another full-day course! This one is the
wonderful FUN WITH FUNGI MUSHROOM COURSE hosted by Drs. Allison Walker
and Keith Egger, who bring a wealth of knowledge about fungi &
ecosystems. This is an exciting course and we are grateful to Allison
and Keith for leading this again this year! 

The course will be held on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH FROM 10:00 AM TO 4:00
PM up at the beautiful Ross Creek Centre for the Arts. The course will
involve a mixture of outdoors time in the woods observing and collecting
mushrooms, and some indoor classroom time in the Centre. Learn to
identify mushrooms from major fungal groups and common species, learn
about their diversity and roles in ecosystems with a focus on the
Acadian forest, and more! Lunch from Ross Creek is included in the
course fees (dietary preferences can be accommodated).
