[BNS_members] Coming Up: Winter on Snowshoes

Good evening, 

This upcoming SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH is a field trip! 

Soren will be leading another Winter on Snowshoes field trip, weather
permitting this upcoming Sunday at 10:00 am. The field trip will be
about 2 hours, location TBA. Please register here to ensure appropriate
numbers [1].

Last month's trip to the Wolfville Watershed was a great success, with
many fascinating animal tracks and the beauty of the woods covered in
fresh snow! Thanks to Soren for hosting these great field trips.

If you do not have snowshoes, the Town of Kentville offers gear loans
including snowshoes [2] and this can be arranged by emailing
recreation at kentville.ca. The Town of Wolfville is currently re-doing
their snowshoe inventory and will not have snowshoes to loan from the
Recreation Centre this weekend, but hopefully will have new sets soon. I
am coordinating with them. Please reach out if you have any questions
about gear.
