Good day,

A reminder of tonight's webinar, Progress Report Post-2022: Protecting
Areas in Kings County.

Join Alain Belliveau for a discussion on protecting 20% of Kings County,
where we stand, what the status of species at risk in Kings County is,
and ways to get involved and support this goal.

TODAY - Wednesday February 22nd at 7:00 pm. Online on Zoom.

Please register for the Zoom in advance here:

The talk will be recorded.

Alain, Kings Co. citizen and botanist, is giving a progress-report
update, informed by species at risk fieldwork across the County, and new
information and progress towards the goal to protect 20% of lands and
waters in Kings County (as part of a legislated goal for all of Nova
Scotia by 2030). There will be a discussion of what we can do, letter
writing templates, other citizen science work, and more.

_ Blomidon Naturalists Society activities take place in Mi'kma'ki, the
traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People. We
acknowledge that we have a responsibility to honour and learn about
their histories and current cultures and to actively work in support of
reconciliation. We are committed to fostering respectful and sustainable
relationships with the Indigenous Peoples of this land, with all other
organisms, with the land and with the water._
