Please note we have changed the date of our upcoming Environmental Protection Advisory Committee Zoom Meeting. It will now be on Thursday October 8th from 7:00-8:30 pm.

We are happy to have Donna Crossland MScF make a presentation called Facts about Nova Scotia forests in 2020, its latest threats, government failure, pending collapse, and solutions...if you dare.

Donna is a Member of the Minister's Advisory Committee (Purpose of 'MAC' is to advise DLF and government on implementation of the Lahey recommendations on the Independent Forestry Review<cid:part1.47246A00.D9981A11 at eastlink.ca>.)

She is a Former member of Forest Panel of Expertise, Natural Resources Strategy, and co-author of the Bancroft Crossland report on Restoring the Health of Nova Scotia's Forests<cid:part2.F0D444E7.47795185 at eastlink.ca>.

She is also a Biologist with Parks Canada, Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site. Presently she works as 'Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Project Coordinator'.
She will not speak on behalf of Parks Canada but will provide information on forest invasives that are affecting NS forests.
